About Me

The chapters that shaped me

A life built quietly, then loudly — one decision, one relationship, one factory at a time.

Roots

Kurunegala, Sri Lanka

I was born and raised in Kurunegala, in Sri Lanka's North Western Province — in a home where discipline, kindness and quiet ambition were taught long before they were named. My earliest memories are of family working tirelessly, and of learning, even as a child, that nothing meaningful comes without effort.

1996 – 1997

Diploma in Computer Programming

Before apparel found me, I trained at the Technical Engineering College in Sri Lanka — a Diploma in Computer Programming that taught me to think in systems, sequences and small precise steps. Lessons that quietly shaped how I'd later run factory floors.

1998 – 2004

MSA Mode — first floor, first lessons

I joined MSA Mode in Kurunegala as a Senior Quality Assurance Auditor. Nearly seven years of long days, unfamiliar floors, and lessons that did not always come gently. Every difficulty quietly became a foundation — every small win, a reason to keep going.

2004 – 2011

EAM Maliban Textiles — manager of quality

Seven years at EAM Maliban Textiles in Sri Lanka as Manager of Quality Assurance. The craft began to feel like a calling. I discovered that I loved the rhythm of factories, the language of standards, and the human side of leadership.

2011 – Today

Hirdaramani Bangladesh — fifteen years and counting

From Senior Manager in Chittagong to Brand Tech Manager for American Eagle, to Assistant General Manager and now Deputy General Manager of Garment Technology and Quality. Fifteen years of building teams, lifting standards and earning the trust of global brands — across two homes, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Today

A life of intention

Today I lead, travel, teach — and most importantly, return home. With an MBA from the University of Gloucestershire, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Leaders Excellence at Harvard Square behind me, I measure success not in titles, but in the people I have helped grow and the family that calls me theirs.
